Eliz was already out of the house Saturday morning and called to tell me of the Shuttle accident.
This is from the statement today from the families of the crew members: "And although we grieve deeply, as do the families of Apollo 1 and Challenger before us, the bold exploration of space must go on."
We're blessed that we have so many people among us willing to risk their lives for things like freedom, society and the hope of a better future. And for families like those of the Columbia heroes.
